1 Install the extension (one-time setup - see below)
2 Navigate to any article or YouTube video in Chrome
3 Click the extension icon in your toolbar
4 Click "Extract & Analyze" - the analyzer opens automatically with results!

After downloading, extract the ZIP file to a folder you'll remember (e.g., Desktop or Documents).

2 Open Chrome Extensions Page

Type this in your Chrome address bar:

chrome://extensions

Then press Enter to open the Extensions page.

3 Enable Developer Mode

Look for the "Developer mode" toggle in the top-right corner of the page.

Click to turn it ON (toggle should be blue)

4 Load the Extension

Three new buttons will appear. Click "Load unpacked"

Navigate to the extracted antisemitism-analyzer-extension folder and click "Select Folder"

5 Pin the Extension (Optional but Recommended)

Click the puzzle piece icon 🧩 in Chrome's toolbar (top-right)

Find "Antisemitism Analyzer" with the gold shield icon and click the pin icon 📌

⚠️ Troubleshooting

• Extension not working? Make sure the analyzer server is running (node server.js)
• Error loading? Make sure you select the folder containing manifest.json, not a parent folder
• "Service worker" error? Try clicking "Update" on the extension card, or remove and re-add

YouTube Videos

For YouTube, the extension extracts the video transcript with timestamps. These timestamps are included in generated letters so readers can verify claims at the exact moment in the video!

Use this if you don't have the extension installed.

1 Copy the article URL from your browser
2 Paste the URL in the "Analyze Content by URL" field
3 Click "Load Content" and wait for analysis
